1/2" DensShield Tile Backer, 4' x 5'

DensShield Tile Backer is designed for use as a substrate, in high moisture areas, on walls (as a tile backer), ceilings, counter-tops as well as commercial and residential floor applications.

The special moisture-resistant, treated core  (covered front and back by fiberglass mats) is lighter than the leading cement board. The unique construction (an outer gray heat-cured, co-polymer, moisture-resistant coating placed over fiberglass mats and a moisture-resistant, treated core) makes it a  preferred product for applications in high moisture areas.

With a coated fiberglass-mat front and back, the panel consists of a treated water-resistant gypsum core, with a proprietary cementitious coating that adheres like cement board but is as easy to use as a regular gypsum board.
